TWICE's ONEs brace yourselves as the K-pop female group is about to make a comeback in April. TWICE is already gearing for a huge 2019. Aside from a tri-city dome tour in Japan, the group is also about to release a full album.
If TWICE is being quiet lately, that is because the members are busy preparing for their dome tour next month and a comeback in April. The group's label, JYP Entertainment, has confirmed that the nine-member girl group is currently working on a new album and they plan to release it in April.
No specific date has been decided yet but it is expected to be after the group wraps up their tour in Japan on April 6. JYP also revealed that TWICE already finished filming the music video for their new song and also putting their efforts into album preparations.
TWICE's last comeback was in November with the hit album Yes or Yes with the title track of the same title. TWICE fans have expressed their excitement over the group's comeback and have been on online sites sharing their theories on what could be the album's theme this time. Some are anticipating a mature theme while others believe it could be a cute and funny theme.
The group is also set to drop their second compilation album in Japan on March 6. The upcoming album, titled #TWICE2, consists of 10 tracks including the Japanese and Korean versions of "Likey," "Heart Shaker", "What is Love?", "Dance The Night Away", and "YES or YES".
Moreover, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu are expected to tease their upcoming full album at their tri-city dome tour in Japan. The group's #Dreamday concert tour is set to kick off in Osaka on March 20.
TWICE will be in Osaka's Kyocera Dome on March 20-21. Then they will head to Tokyo for another two-night concert at the Tokyo Dome on March 29 and 30 before ending the concert series at Nagoya Dome on April 6.
TWICE had a successful 2018. In April, they released their fifth EP, What Is Love?, and they had the Twice 2nd Tour: Twiceland Zone 2 - Fantasy Park in Seoul the following month. The concert tour was a success as it attracted over 90,000 fans in six cities across Asia.
The group released a repackage of What Is Love?, titled Summer Nights, along with its title track "Dance the Night Away." In September, TWICE dropped their first Japanese studio album, BDZ. It was followed by their sixth EP, Yes or Yes, in November.
TWICE ended the year with several nominations and awards from different award-giving bodies in Korea. They were also invited to perform in Japan's New Year's Eve music show Kōhaku Uta Gassen.
